Buku, born Joann Lee, is said to have attended a California art school. After being informed of the unpaid bills, she was unable to enroll in courses. Buku claims that this was one of Kelly's first steps in financially cutting her off. He allegedly also stopped paying the rent for her apartment in college and books from school.
